Peeping Tom is looking for new members of the board!

Peeping Tom creates, produces and presents ambitious and unique dance theatre productions created by Gabriela Carrizo (AR) and Franck Chartier (FR).

The Peeping Tom Studio in Molenbeek/Brussels is the beating heart of the organisation. This is where our offices are located, where we work on newcreations or where we welcome local and international artists for workshops,rehearsals or other activities. From this home base, we also prepare the worldwide tours with which we have built an international and loyal audience.

We do not want to be an island in Molenbeek and have the ambition to connect with residents and professionals from the neighbourhood, such as from education, communitybuilding initiatives, artists and other creative people.

Behind the operation is a passionate management team of 6 permanent employees and a large network of artists and freelancers. We work in close contact with each other and with the artistic direction. We are accountable for this operation to the board of members and the General Assembly. They form a sounding board for all parts of the operation and focus on the long-termstrategy and the financial health of the organisation. The board meets at least four times a year, the General Assembly at least twice a year. The meetings take place in English and can be held both on-site and online. We hold the principles of cultural governance in high regard.

Peeping Tom is structurally subsidised by the Flemish government.

• Who are we looking for?

In the board and the General Assembly, the aim is to achieve maximum diversity in terms of knowledge and expertise, gender, ethnic/cultural background, generations, and more. In terms of skills and expertise, we are looking for people with expertise in, among other things:

• Human Resources

• Communication/media

• art practice (all disciplines welcome)

We also want to enrich this board with people from different cultural backgrounds, young profiles (20-30) and residents or people who work in Molenbeek or the surrounding area.

Candidates do not have to meet all these criteria, but we will look for new members who will jointly strengthen Peeping Tom in these areas. These characteristics are complementary to the profiles of people who already are part of the board today.

Are you interested?

Send a motivation letter to the company manager Veerle Mans by 30 January 2025 at the latest via veerle@peepingtom.be In your motivation letter, clearly state how you see your added value for the organisation, and what Peeping Tom has to offer you. We will set up meetings with the business management and some members of the board in mid-February . The intention is that a renewed board will start in April 2025.
