Boston Gallacher commence son parcours en danse à la Dance School of Scotland à Glasgow, où il étudie de 2008 à 2013. Il poursuit ensuite sa formation à la Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance à Twickenham (Royaume-Uni), de 2013 à 2016.

Son expérience professionnelle inclut une participation à un projet de recherche et développement avec DV8 en 2015, un statut d’artiste invité au sein de la Rambert Company en 2016, ainsi que son intégration au Nederlands Dans Theater 2 (NDT 2) en août 2016. Il rejoint ensuite le NDT 1 en août 2019.

En 2020, Boston Gallacher reçoit le Piket Art Prize for Dance.

Il rejoint Peeping Tom en 2024 pour la création Chroniques.
