Simon Bus started breakdancing at the age of 12 after witnessing the power moves of bboy Kujo in a Run DMC music video. He was a member of the Limburg based breakdance crew 'Trashcan Heroes' and was part of the (inter)national battle scene. In 2013 he graduated from the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts & Design (Video-Visual Communication) – at the same time he continued to dance. With his inquisitive eye and hyper-flexible body, Simon stretches ideas about dance. As of 2024, Simon is a core maker at DansBrabant where he collaborates in creation with his partner Alesya Dobysh.
