Diego Pazo

Spanish freelance dancer and creator, he began his dance journey in 2008 through the breakdance practice and later took his first steps in contemporary dance almost entirely self—taught, attending workshops and training sessions with international instructors since 2014.

He did graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Vigo, and later, in 2019, he began his formal dance studies at La Faktoria Choreographic Center in Pamplona. There he met Lucía Burguete, with whom he establishes their own creative project, QABALUM, whose works have been performed and toured both nationally and internationally, receiving several recognitions and awards, the most recent being four partner awards at the RIDCC 2026.

As a freelance performer, he’s been specially engaged with Cía. Daniel Abreu —Es Aquí, Selva, Dalet [DA]— and LED Silhouette —Noces, Halley—, among others like Cía. Jesús Rubio Gamo, Proyecto Larrua or AVRIGO Studio. In 2026 he joins Peeping Tom for Le Salon Revisited 2026.

In parallel, he also pursues a pedagogical career, having been a guest instructor in training programs such as TRY Dance Program, SEAD Movementors, Profitraining Freiburg, and at various cultural institutions.
