Nelson Earl

 

 

Nelson Parrish Earl is an Australian born dancer, choreographer and movement-coach.


His professional experience began at Sydney Dance Company from 2015 to 2018, performing works by Alexander Ekman, Rafael Bonachela and Antony Hamilton, among others. He was nominated twice as national best dancer for the Sir Robert Helpmann Awards. He then worked with DV8 Physical Theatre on the revival of Lloyd Newson's Enter Achilles. In 2021, Nelson was invited as Nicole Kidman's personal movement coach for the film Being the Ricardos. He joined Dancenorth for two seasons, where he performed Red and Wayfinder as well as choreographing two works. Nelson moved to Europe and began with performing as a guest. Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's Satyagraha. While in OBV Nelson worked with Alain Platel and performed his last commission Ombra. Since, Nelson is freelancing in Europe and is now

performing with Eastman and Peeping Tom for upcoming works. He has just been working on a new production with Larbi called Residence with artist Marc Brew and worked intimately with Thomasin McKenzie on her new lead role as Audrey Hepburn. Nelson will Join the cast of Le Salon.
